Allan has had a laptop for a long while that has had no love. I decided to snag it from him and install Ubuntu Studio on it. He also has a Presonus Studio Live AR8c. Which Ardour plays very nicely with. All channels found and all stereo channels get configured correctly. Guitarix was another one that I’m familiar with; I used it extensively as a primary amp processor before moving to macOS.
I got everything set up in a way that I believe I’ll be able to explain in a succinct and concise way. I also created a tool that takes advantage of a few Python libraries and everyone’s favorite video downloading tool, yt-dlp.

This is what it looks like running on my Mac. Splits stems and allows you to save them.
